some bad news =[

hey guys , ive been one here for a little while talking to ppl and asking questions about my 1995 gtp , well i started it up the other morning and the was idling funny then all of a sudden a massive amount of white smoke was comig out of the mufflers, so i found out it was a head gasket , i heard its going to be about $1200-$1500 to fix , i would try and do it my self but i have no tools for that and not a lot of time , so i was wondering if i should just get a rebuilt motor and just throw that in or try to find a worked motor , or just see if i can get it fixed and take the hit. hoping to get some advice from you guys hoping it can help me, thanks
