I'm doing a v6 in my chevette, probably a 2.8 out of an S10. If I find a 3400 from a camaro later will it bolt up the same as the 2.8? I'm talking transmission and motor mounts, can I pull the 2.8 out and bolt the 3400 in without changing anything. If not, what needs to be changed?

The 3.4 iron head motor out of a '93-'95 Camaro should bolt work but you would have to change intake manifolds if you plan on running a carb. Edelbrock makes a two piece intake for the 2.8 and you can run either a 2bbl. or a 4bbl. carb depending on which upper part of the manifold that you buy.

As long as its out of the RWD iron head platform, no issue in changing out later.
