So which one should I swap?

Tonight I bought a '96 Monte Carlo LS with a 3100 engine because the Corsi is history. I'll soon be putting my 3400/3500 hybrid into my wife's Lumina because she drove the Corsi with my motor and she had to have it. So now I have to figure out what engine to swap into the Monte, should it be the 3500 or a 3400? It is interesting to note that I can buy a 3500 with less than half the miles for the same price. LOL Some input please Superdave, or anyone else who has an opinion.

I'd 3500 the Monte.. should be a fairly easy swap.

RUST. The rack mounts on the firewall rusted out from the notorious L-body windshield leak. Just when I got it set up like I wanted it, this crap happens. I guess maybe all of the torque the engine makes, fighting the front end to keep it in one lane when the hammer is down, didn't help much either. LOL Anyway F**K it, I am moving on cuase I don't feel like fixing it. Time for a new challenge.
