86 comanche 2.8 on search for power

I have an 86 jeep comanche power train is 2.8l 5speed 4x4. I have been looking in to swapping in a camaro 3.4l with some parts off the 2.8 on it like the carb and distributor or I would realy like to put a 3.8 camaro motor in with a gtp charger on it. I have seen people swap the 3.4 over but have still not found any swaps with the 3.8 . tell me what you think and Im open to suggestions I just want more power but still the reliability.

3.4L Swap is easy, quick and EVERYTHING will bolt together. No science to it, no custom parts, no extra expense.

The 3800 will be far more complex with custom mounts, electronics, cooling, exhaust, fuel injection and ignition. About the only thing that will bolt up is the transmission.
