99 malibu 2.4 DOHC, and 4t45? 4 speed auto, with obd2 comp and harness.
OK, I got the wiring done, I got the engine and transmission mounts done, everything is back in, battery, air intake, radiator etc......
Problem, axles.
I tried looking in a BCA book to cross referance axle seals, it gave me numbers, i go the seals, and the book is full of **it!
So, I had an idea, can i just swap the inner CV-Joint cup from a malibu onto the stock achieva axle? This will then have the proper stock seal. I would just go out and buy a set form the junk yard if that will work. Anyone got a clue, or set they can eye ball and see if it will work?
Last thing, I can't find a wireing diagram anywhere for the shift indictor bar on a 99 malibu. The light bar that reads what gear your in. I swapped out a 4 speed shifter in it too, it had a 3 speed in it. clues?
