I picked up an 86 Fiero with the 2.8 a few days ago, and the engine spun a bearing today. It was showing really low oil pressure for some reason and it doesn't look like the oil was leaving the pan very much at all. The car has 205K on it, not in too bad a shape except for the now defunkt engine.
My brother has a 3.1 in a cutlass with a blown tranny that I can get.
What all am I going to need to change to make this swap work in my car?
I've done enough engine replacements before but they have all been V8 rwd trucks and I haven't been worried about the computer at all there. IS the different size going to mess up the computer or am I ok?
