    my 3100 kick a rod. in my 94 grand prix.i was woundering wiring would i have to do to put a 96+ 3100 in it

    Depending on how new you were thinking, the only problems should be the temp sensor and the EGR valve. Whiich are no big deal to deal with.

      Swap over your UIM from the 94 and that will take care of the EGR issue. Possibly wire in a 3 wire CTS in the lower intake as I think in 96 is when they did away with the one in the rear head for the gauge and moved to a 3 wire that did both gauge and ecm.

        or should i swap 3400 in it trany almost has 200k on it can my 1.5OBD run a 3400 good and how about the exhaust can i use my 3100 manifold or do i need a 3400 manifold.

          3400 is pretty simple swap. you can run it un-tuned it will do ok, more power is to be had tuned but plenty have swapped. keep your original injeactors and FPR. www.3400swap.com should cover the rest.

            im going to go with 00' 3400. just ordered egr adapter from wot-tech.
            im going leave stock for now. I'm going to upgrade it later. My Q. can i put ls6 springs on a stock motor.
