3400 fiero?

ok im just tryin to get a better idea on what is involved, its an 86 with the 2.8... im guessin most of you know this but it has a distributer so i know im gonna need a new ecu and wiring to get rid of that. i have an 86 cavalier z24 available to me to get any parts off i want. are the ecu/wiring plug and play? or will i have to rewire EVERYTHING?

i know i will have to make all new mounts too...

i have searched the fiero forums and didnt find anything, im not a member so thats y im asking here and not there

You're in the wrong place for the best info for this swap. Are you using the proper search parameters on the Fiero Forum? There is quite a bit of info on using complete aluminum head motors in the Fiero as well as a continuing thread on the 730 ecm and repinning the stock harness which is the easiest approach to engine management for it. 3100, 3400, 3500 V6 the install is nearly identical for all three in the Fiero.
