Need help asap

K I have a 2000 Impala with the 3.4l and it was recently totaled though the engine is completely untouched. I was hoping you guys would be able to tell me if it is possbile to use that 3.4l in my S10, the only problem I have been told of is the fact the 3.4 is in a front wheel drive and the truck is rear wheel. Anyone got any suggestions?

Not an easy swap by any means. The engine mounts are wrong along with the starter location. Yea the power is better than a 93 to 95 camaro but it is a much more involved swap with a list of modifications a mile long.

For a real bolt in swap the 93 to 95 camaro engine or the 3.4L crate engine is the way to go.
