most of the interior harness is the same. The only differences are in the C100 firewall connector, and the ALDL connector.

I am in the process of converting my 1988 Cutlass Supreme to OBD2 3100 SFI (1996), and I am using a 1994 Cutlass Supreme dash harness. The differences are minor, but you will need to do some small things. You might be able to do the swap on the car side instead of the interior side like I did. I think you will have to run 1 wire for one of the data lines. I think that 1994-1995 only has the SERIAL, but 1996 has both SERIAL and UART.

argh if www.bstuff.com was up I'd point you to the swap article which shows which wires you have to change in the interiior harness for it to work. IIRC something with ABS and then run a new wire from the ICM to the tach since the older got th esignal from there instead of the ECM.

Woah, don't go quoting my Bstuff thread, this car is totally different and I'm sure the bulkhead is no where near wired the same, and he's going to a 97 setup too...

BUT your best bet is to get a full harness and then compare the pinouts on the interior bulkhead with what’s listed in your wiring diagram, that’s how I did it and then realized I didn't need to use the interior part.

My OBDII writeup thread is specific to Beretta's and only the years of 94-95 being swapped to a 96 Beretta or corisica engine harness only.

3400-Modified, right it won't be the same but it would give him ideas of what he might need to do for his car. The pinouts won't be the same but the issues might be the same if he is keeping the old interior stuff so the tach signal etc issues might be similar to watch out for.

I didn't mean it as a direct guide. Just to look at for ideas of what might be encountered.
