  • Anyone have the tunercat $A1 definition?

Just curious before I spring for it... I've got stuff to trade if you've got it..

Or even perhaps a more complete definition file for Tuner pro?

(PS - definitions should be free. )
Okay now, that's enough of that.

You know what... from what I've been reading, it doesn't sound like tunercat's definition is more complete than tuner pro's. If that's the case, I'd rather stick with tunerpro and modify the xdf for more adjustability.. I doubt there are more than 1/2 the variables and tables listed in the def..

Someone must be working on one...

Alot of tables and stuff aren't even really needed. I have tuned alot of things on my chip, and I have only used about 25 tables / constants MAX. The rest are quite useless...

There are times to modify a few more here and there, but yes, a large majority are not going to be needed by most people. Still, I would love to see an A1 and DF full xdf file and tunercat to have the ability to compare files between different definition files/chips.

If you have a working copy, just open both programs, and copy all the item locations. Easy as pie.

My GMPCM don't work any more... I wish it did cause I could make a new definition file for Tunerpro in an hour or two.

I would like to have the gmpcm software just in case someone does hack it.

I've got zips of a few versions of GMPCM and I believe the latest if anyone is interested? I never throw anything out.

Well yeah, you can easily get by with tunerpro's definition, but I want more flexibility. There aren't even any DFCO variables listed. Or throttle follower, or _____________.....

GMPCM was probably 98% complete, and 90% accurate. It was pretty good until I had to reinstall windows, and the serial changed and I couldn't access the program anymore.

GMPCM used the A1.doc file found on this site. However, it did not use the same math that the document uses. Tunerpro could have everything in it if people want to work on it.

I have the tunercat a1 def, it is very incomplete to say the least, and I found that many things were not correct. I was using gmpcm, which is 100x more complete, and so far 100% accurate, but I am switching to the 8f definition for boost, so if anyone has a registered copy of gmpcm i will trade for the tunercat a1 file if you really want it.

Problem is, GMPCM reads your computers specs/unique ID/SOMETHING, and creates a key unique to the computer it's installed on. After I had to run a backup copy of my HD, on the same computer, same OS, everything exactly the same as it was a year ago (or whatever), the 20+digit key changed a few numbers, and I was unable to run my registered software.
