    I downloaded the demo version of GMPCM a couple days before the site went down (lucky me) but I didn't get a chance to take in all that the forum had to offer. Now I'm trying to match up my work from the GMPCM demo to TunerPro.
    I've noticed that GMPCM's A1.PCM and the A1.XDF definition for TunerPro have some different conversion rates for some of the values. Unfortunately, I can't decipher which is right and which is wrong, so which one should I take as the correct one? AFAIK the $A1 supplied by GMPCM is closer, but I want to make sure.

    Example:
    Idle Spark Advance Table
    A1.PCM uses a conversion factor of (1 * X) + 0.0
    A1.XDF uses a conversion factor of (0.351563 * X) + 0.0

    Main Spark Advance Table
    A1.PCM uses (0.351563 * X) - 3.52
    A1.XDF uses (0.351563 * X) + 0.0

    Im not home so i cant check, but where did you get the tunerpro version? Ive made one but I dont know if it ever went public. Mick had the complete data code layout for A1 and DF but I noticed a few areas on DF that were calculated wrong. I never really use the program for spark but the couple times I did I dont recall it being off. Ill check when I get home later today.

        I dunno what an idle spark table is but the main spark table is correct in the moates.net version.

          Idle Spark Advance vs RPM Error
          Address: 0x0235 in A1.bin

          I got myself a byte by byte breakdown of the A1 binary, so that should tell me everything I need... Hopefully this document is correct. (727_730_A1.doc, available on ftp.diy-efi.org)
          According to the document, the TunerPro .XDF file appears to be more correct.

          On another note, how is the A1 code superior to the 6D code, besides the 88 MAF to MAP? I'm working on an '89 Cavy which was originally equipped with the 6D code and I was wondering how the A1 is better, seeing most of the variables are the same.
