I dont know how far Bszopi got with this project but I'm to the point of completion on integrating this ECM in to my 1995 Beretta. I already own everything needed to burn proms, but just dont know what to change in them so I'm having Ryan from sinister performance help me out on that one, for my first chip at least.
I have everything complete but installing the stand alone MAF needed for the swap, I'm using a Pontiac transporter one.. not that it really matters, it's just a 1996+ external MAF any one will work. I am working on this project with a daily driver car so its somewhat difficult but I have gotten it to the point where it is a jumper that uses sockets from a old 94 beretta ECM so I can just plug it into my existing harness and not cut any wires. This has made it easy for me to go between the Buick ECM and back to my old 95 ECM so I can trouble shoot any wiring problems.
More info on what I have found and done, plus haters making fun of my project can be found at Bstuff.com http://www.bstuff.com/index.php?showtopic=32740
Ran across a little problem I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but I am getting a cam position sensor error, the buick ecm cam sensor has a key on voltage of 10.5 where as the beretta is a key on voltage of B+ do you think its possible to just put in a voltage divider circuit to get the 10.5 I want? Or do you think I need to swap sensors?
