Looks like a nice $200+ OBD2 scanner
I wouldn't complain. Mine only reads the actual code # on the screen, not the code information like that one most likely does.

I have a cheap one from Harbor Freight. It won't datalog but can read/erase codes.
I believe the reason you aren't suppose to be able to erase codes is because many States simply scan for codes as their way of emissions testing.MinusOne - 3100 - 4T60E
