  • nearly complete 96 z-34 monte

I was going to keep the motor and trans (3.4 DOHC and 4T65), but i need the money. She runs strong, less then 15k since upper end rebuild. Only reason I'm parting out the car, the frame rusted out where the trailing arms come in.
Contact me quick or she goes to wrecker.

sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

97 was the only 3.4 DOHC to get the 4T65-E unless you swapped the trans and computer.

I'm only in cleveland! Chicago ain't that far, i drive there for paint ball. or you drive truck here and yank motor over weekend, or since you'll need a truck anyway, rent a u-haul tow dolly and get it out of my drive, i need room!

So does this 96 have the 65? I'll just stick with my 60 if too much of a hassle to swap over. Well wait I'm not even doing a OBD 2 swap so no need for the 65 swap just use the 96 with a 60 and call it a day. Whew over thinking stuff. Again if the trans comes with won't hurt I'll keep it for a future swap if I do go OBD 2.

I talked to my dad on this. Here's what we come up with. We got a truck, I'll yank it, motor and trans, (yes its a 65) and deliver it to you, for $100 over purchase price. Make me an offer.

65 has the big plug through the top of bellhousing from the side right?
and a 60 is in the front by radiator?

I'm going out to look right aftr this post
