This is a feeler thread for my current supercharger.
I bought it a little over two years ago and it sat around while I took care of getting an extra oil pan and having that installed (this spring around easter). The supercharger then got fully bolted/belted on in late July 08 and I ran it around for maybe 2 weeks before the drive shaft bearing took a crap. Its been off the car ever since and is currently being rebuilt. I am under the impression that it has a little over 2200 miles on it as of me taking it off the car.
This rebuild includes new key pins, new shaft bearing, and new supercharger bearings.
As it is being rebuilt I do not have it in my possession but I wanted to post that it is available for sale at the right price. I will not accept any lowball offers so dont even waste my time with them. Bare in mind that this kit is $4400 new from PFYC and $3900 from RSM but both still have un-upgraded parts.
Whats included:
RSM Vortec V9 supercharger with upgraded internals
All hoses
Brackets
Mounting hardware
Original silicone couplers and clamps
Vortec BOV
Battery relocation tray and cables
Gatorback Belt
Full set of original color instructions from RSM
Some extra hose and misc fittings that were in the box
Spare Oil pan for you to tap while your stocker is on the car.
The only part missing from the kit is the fan shroud (wasnt with it when I bought it) but it isnt really a big deal as all you have to do is trim two fins off the guard with a hacksaw or dremel.
Here are two pictures of how I was test fitting some piping for an intercooler that never happened so thats why stuff may look a little off.
