I need the tubular midshaft brace from an older Beretta (also possibly 87 ish Cavalier), also the bracket that attaches it to the block and the midshaft itself if possible.

Its more of the weak aluminum bracket that is weak, the housing dosent have much to do with it. If your crafty, make a bracket out of steel(its a simple bracket), that should stiffen it up a good bit. I need to practice welding, so that might be a good little project to take up time untill I find a trans.
