  • WTB: 60degV6 THM-200C

As title indicates, looking for a THM-200C (Rear drive 3 speed with lock-up converter - 'Metric' stamped into the pan) with a 60 degree V6 bolt pattern case. Interested in complete trans with torque converter, either a runner or rebuildable core.

This is a repeat. I posted a few months ago, no joy so far, I am still looking.

Not interested in 200R4, 700R4, etc. Yes, I know they are 'better'.

I'm in the Detroit Area, mainly looking for something within 200 miles so I can pick up.

    PM here at 60degreeV6.com.

The THM-200c is in no relation to the predecessor/successor 700R4 transmission. It is a Isuzu inspired redesign transmission commonly used with the Isuzu Diesel L4 1.8 liter engines made in 1982 and was the only automatic used with this diesel. Commonly found in any subcompact vehicle like the chevette. THC-180c is the parent to the 200c. Factory use of this tranny stopped in 1983, Gm stopped making them in 1986. The Nova had them in it with the in-line 6's but quickly got replaced with th350's.

The THM180/200 series was actually a redesign of the TH350 for light duty, in essence the THM180/200 was a revision backwards on a deadend treebrach. They are junk and almost impossible to find, a TH350 is almost the same size.

    How about a 2004R not a 200R4
