Intake air temp sensor on obd2. Going from NA to turbo. It makes sense it should be after the IC close the the throttle body, right?

my IAT sensor is about 6" before the TB after the IC. If it helps you can buy a IATs for a 1991-4 Syclone/Typhoone or a 1989-90 Turbo Grand Prix they have the same connection but they are threaded (brass fitting). I drilled a hole in my charge pipe and screwed it in, Works great and won't pop out under boost or cause leaks.

I run mine in the intake manifold :

The TGP motors had the IAT in the manifold as well, and the best location to measure is near the intake valve. I think the IAT parameters in the computer that compensate fuel and spark would be different though depending on where you get your readings from. Since this is NA to Boost, I would say closest to the TB or behind it so long as you prevent heat soak from skewing the numbers.Ben

I would also put as close to the stock location in the intake as possible, but after the turbo. If you have a push in sensor, either put it before the turbo or replace it with a screw in sensor.
