  • Question : UIM Opinions/Suggestions Needed

I'm looking to pull off my 3400 UIM to have it powdercoated. While I'm thinking about it though, I am wondering if it's worth going with the 3500 UIM instead?

I know a lot of the N/A guys like it, but I'm boosted. The larger plenum volume should still help me, but I didn't know if it was worth it. Also, I'm running a Haltech ECU, (I.E. no Emissions) so I shouldn't acually need to modify anything besides the throttle body to put it on correct? I've seen a few people with the Vortech 4.3L 70mm tb on here. Also a worthy upgrade on a boosted Fiero?

I know with my Mitsu stuff, bigger is always better, but 4cyl's don't make much off boost power/response, so you almost need it. Thanks all!

I was also wondering if anyone thought I should run the Intake Manifold spacers to gain some runner length/volume? I'm just looking for opinions and ideas either way. Thanks!
