Ever said the Fiero was designed for it, the 3500 was. I was a little vague in my posting and I know very little about stuffing the 3500 into a Fiero but the stock the 3500 will handle E85 all day long, nothing in the physical fuel system needs to be changed. PCM wise all that needs to be done is to change the stoich afr from 14.7 to 9.76

If he's running the stock fuel system the only thing that would need to be changed on the Fiero would be any rubber fuel lines and adding the 30% more fuel.

I have a stock fuel pump and about 6" of rubber hose supply and return going to and from a vette fuel filter. Then braided line to the stock 3500 rail

The 3500 LZE is a flex fuel engine, not the LX9... Good god. Do some more research.

Caffeine, you would need to know what injectors your currently running, lb/hr rating, and also the duty cycle that they are hitting at WOT since that would determine if you even have the headroom to add 30%. BUT you clearly stated that e85 is hard to get so it's just not worth the trouble. Go 112 of course after increasing the compression so you can use it LOL

Yep and the only difference in the fuel system is the flex fuel version has a sensor to determine alcohol levels

Wow I completely forgot to upload the video of this run haha.
My friend was driving the Fiero at this event cuz he blew up his RB20 and I was driving my Firebird. This was the first run he managed to break into the 13s with. Its funny how many people there expected the Fiero to be slow .

Here's another vid of the Fiero doing 1/16th mile. Almost looks like it does a mini-wheelie on the 1-2 shift haha. Gotta love blown stock shocks.

The 1/4 mile is at a small airport they shut down for one weekend each year. The 1/16 is just part of the local track that also has autoX, drifting, crash to pass, etc... It's a small track. There aren't any big tracks on Vancouver Island.

Dude, that track setup sounds cool. It certainly beats the hell out of nothing!

                      14.60 @ 96.33 for now...

Sweet, it would be cool if our track did more. they have enough space for it but keep it to the basics.

Ya I still wish we had a nice 1/4 mile track like Mission Raceway in Vancouver. I would say there's enough demand for one since the pre-registration for our 1/4 mile event always fills up 2-3 months in advance haha.

DAMN! I was thinking that when I win the lottery (Make that the LOLttery!) I'd build a track so we have a decent one here in northwest Florida.

Haha well aren't you at least within driving distance of a track? I have to take a $150 round trip ferry to get to Vancouver.
