  • 99-05 ga HO????

Earlier today on a ride, I saw a 99-05 gagt, and i noticed on the front fender it said V6HO, wtf?? Is there something I missed. It wasnt a rice addon badge because the car had a platform on the trailer hitch for grandmas rascal, who was driving it. Whats the difference in that model? Never seen one till today.

IIRC, its the GAGT with the ram-air setup. Its still the same 3400 under the hood though...

Only the 99 GTs had that badge. 2000 and up say "Ramair V6." As Brad said the same engine is used in both cars.

Grafxwerks have decals that replace the V6 HO badges. You can see them here: http://www.grafxwerks.com/products/d...pid=GAGT4-1038

Easier to keep clean compared to OEM badges.

you can try getting them through the dealership

I really like having that v6HO badge on the front quarter panels, though, compared to the RamAirv6 (I think there was a year that said RamAir3400), just because it was never really "true" ram air (compared to the TA's), and you'd think a car with a 'RamAir' badge should move a bit more impressively.

At least you can get the 3400 to live up to the v6HO badge

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't every grand Am come with "ram air"? The intake was behind the grill right?

Only the GT's did, to the best of my knowledge the SE v6's didn't
