My DOHC swap sucks on the gas. My old 3.1 used to get 25 minimum, 40+ all highway. Now I can't hit 25 very often

    Whats your normal milage?

i had about a third of that tank on the interstate, and the rest was country roads

i normally get around 27-28 but thats commuting back and forth to work thru saint louis... so actually getting out on the highway helped a lot

when i first got the car i got between 13-18 ( all city, heavy foot(i was 16), and no modifications)

Since switching to Synthetic oil in the engine, trans and diff im seeing 50 more KM per tank of gas. So im happy about that. In the city my truck gets about 18MPG. On the highway it is in the high 20's. Depends how fast I want to go.
