wierd tubes for exhuast system

this might be the wrong place, but i figured its a question about the pipes and not the motor. I bought 10 peices of 1 5/8" tubing off ebay each peice is about 16" long, i figured i could use it to make new exhaust manifolds or the begginings of a set of headers. but these things look like they used to be rollers from a conveyer belt. they are machined inside and out. looks like they are sort of bored out for the first inch on each end like it had bearings inserted here. these seem alot heavier than tubing, really nice looking peices. i dont think they arre going to work as headers, but a set of glorified manifolds, maybe. even thats better than the log.

i'll get a pic of one up soon and you let me know what you think.

You are correct. They are rollers from some kind of transport system. Very easily identified stripes running the circumference of the tube shows that.

yeah, i think it was a waste of $16. i can still cut the thinner ends off and use them, but i think they are too short for my bender. or turn around and try to sell them.
