I am so happy! Today I finally got the oil pan back in my X-11 as well as some other things put back together. Then I filled him up with some mobile 1 and after a couple of shots of either, the beast came alive under his own power!!! Man, is he LOUD (running through open manifolds, hehe, can we say wake the whole block??). With any luck tomorrow I will finish him up and get the frame reassembled and the shifter cables replace and the clutch working. And when thats all done, beast will get his first taste of asphault since coming out of his coma. Prey for the beast (I mean best)

Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance -
Yah 660s aren't quiet with open headers or manis. And they don't even sound good either. With my open headers, I wanted to wear a mask I was so embarrassed at the racket it was making. But I never revved beyond 2,000rpm without an exhaust, becuz at 2,000 my ears were hurting. -
They do make a racket. I just cant wait 'til I get the custom exhaust made and installed with open cut-outs. When that happens I plan on driving past a local police station and open the cut-outs!!!!
