  • Man...I am old!

Just for fun, I thought it would be cool to list our GM cars owned. No Dealers. Driver cars only. When I was young, I would trade cars more than my underwear. There were some Fords and Chrysler products and several Imports, but GM was my passion. Someone has to be able to beat this list. Remember, I am 47 and have slowed down in my latter years! (I also started at 14) ... In order of appearance.....1954 Chevy 4dr., 1964 Chevy Biscayne 4dr., 1961 Chevy Belair 2dr., 1963 Pontiac Catalina 4dr. hardtop, 1968 Olds Cutlass 2dr., 1968 Olds Delmont 88, 1968 Pontiac LeMans, 1969 Caddilac Eldorado Sport Coupe, 1974 Pontiac Grand Am 444, 1961 Chevy Nomad, 1972 Buick Centurion, 1968 Chevy C70, 1961 Chevy Biscayne 4dr., 1972 Chevy Caprice Classic 402, 1965 Chevy Belair 4dr., 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo, 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo, 1970 Chevy 3/4 ton, 1968 Chevy 1/2 ton, 1987 Grand Am, 1974 Olds Cutlass, 1972 Pontiac Catalina 4dr., 1964 Chevy 1/2 ton, 1974 Caprice Wagon, 1986 Chevy Celebrity Wagon, 1970 Chevy 1/2 ton, 1994 Olds Cutlass Supreme. WHEW!! I know I forgot 1 or 2 that I only owned for a week or so...And NEVER bought a new car. Some of these were Badass, others were simply cars.........
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

Um, well im not beating it. 85 le baron convertible (15-16), 91 grand prix(16-present), 92 grand prix (drove it 10 feet, then parted it), 91 Cutlass Supreme (drove it 3 months out of a year, then parted it). The 91 GP has been my main car since 95:P

      Let's see...

73 Chevelle, 94 Beretta (current), 76 Blazer (as a 6-month toy/money pit), 91 S-10 (only driven it around the fields at the house), and 98 Blazer (wife's car).

Its pretty sad that I've owned the Beretta since 95 and has been my main transportation for the last 9 1/2 years.

            let's see ...

            87 Grand Am (1995 - 1997) ($2000)
            91 Lumina Z34 (1997 - 1999) ($13,500 including interest and warranty)
            91 Cavalier (1999 - 2003) ($2000)
            91 Sunbird (2000 - 2002) ($1900)
            91 Lumina (2002 - 2002) ($500)
            88 Regal (2002 - 2004 - Wish I still had this car) ($300)
            89 Ciera (2003 - 2003) ($-Free!)
            91 Beretta (2003 - 2004) ($500)
            92 Lumina Z34 (2004 - present) ($600)

I'm 26 now, I left out all my Fords (6) and my Toyota (1).

Those were my daily drivers, I had a few crappy trucks, and such that I'd have for 'bouta week or two, but nothin' worth mentioning as they weren't totally functioning, and couldn't be daily driver.

I'm sure I have missed a few but this is the most memorable ones. Like Dennis, I use to buy cars and sometimes only keep them a few days. Even sold one the day I got it. Now I am quite content to drive a reliable older car istead of going out and buying new ones.

What happened to the good old days when you could pick up a decent 6 or 8 year old car for a couple hundred bucks????
