Here in Buffalo we feel somewhat dissapointed if we don't get at least 1 or 2 snowstorms every year. It really chips away at our pride otherwise...

I would be up at 3:30am, but they canceled my work. They also don't plow my road till last... The last time I was up stairs there were drifts up to the center of the rims on my truck, one against the garage door, 1 knee hight on my front porch and 1 knee hight in the back yard just outside of the door. The dog doesn't seem to mind it though.

Hey folks! Your storm just hit us here in Toronto, Ontario! Although not too bad; 20-30 cm (about a foot?).
Although my professor just emailed us that he can't make it; that means its time for me to put on a pot of coffee, relax and let the Malibu rest

They actually plowed our road O.o And now thanks to that, we have a 3-3 1/2 foot tall snow fence around our front yard. It's almost up to the bottom of our mailbox, lol. From the looks of it, our area didn't get as much as expected, but still got a decent helping.

We only got ~7" where I live, but considering only some of the major roads are plowed, and the rest are a sheet of ice, it sucks. And it just started snowing again. And its supposed to snow again on Sun and Mon. Yea...

More ice here today, now it's snowing. Camaro still gives me the evil eye. Glad I kept the Cavalier. Damn Global Warming!

Well, Snowstorm, Part 2, is upon us here in Arkansas. We were supposed to get 3-6". When I got up for work this morning, I had ~8" on the Rendezvous. Brushed it off and headed in to work. Got there around 6:15. There were a couple others there, and the snow was still coming down. Went outside and checked the snow around 7:15 - just under 11". And it was still coming down! Needless to say, grabbed some work and headed home. We're probably closer to 14" right now. My wife's car is almost completely buried. The dogs - a golden retreiver and a larger mutt who stands ~6" taller, are having to leap around through the snow. It is past their bellies. I'll have to get a picture later, after another few inches fall...

first week without a major storm. we had a small one yesterday which dropped roughly 3" of wet snow which was nothing.

it will be nice not having to shovel out a foot of snow from the below pic this week. basically from where i was standing to take the pic to the back of the big snow pile, usually takes a few hours since i have to get creative with where to put some of the snow..

maybe now i can get under the GA and see what needs to be fixed for inspection.
