I ended up getting a deal on another car that I couldn't pass up.
I picked up a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT at the local police auction for $2450.00
The car had a starter interrupt system from car dealer, so the tow truck driver and I uninstalled it in my drive way after he dropped it off. Apparently the owner didn't make the payment and they didn't get the code to keep the car running. We had the system disconnected in under 10 mins and the car started right up.
The car has 146,000 miles, no apparent signs of LIM problems and no ticking or strange noises. The body is in average to above average condition for the year and the interior just needs a good cleaning.
The one on the left is the one that I just bought, the one on the right is a 01 that I have had for about 3 years.
So now I have two green Grand Am GT Coupes, both slightly different shades of green though haha.
