  • Short vid of my heap...crippled but running strong

It's crippled due to a toasted 2nd gear band in my 2004R trans and a broken x-member. I guess 400ft lbs will do that to parts....lol. Well, here it is!! Thoughts/comments??

My grandpa has one just like it! 86. He doesn't want a newer car because his is fast haha! He's missing the left side grill though and wants a replacement (mechanics busted it out and didn't replace it) though.

98Malibu3.1, sound nice! I also have had trouble with the 200 tranny, and that was behind a 3.8!

HAHAHA.....I have in fact an open posi. Let's just say w/that much power, even trying to do a pegleg is a moot point....lol!! It takes a good amount of power to make a 3600lb car twist around like that just in park.

Approx. 300-310hp and 390-400ft lbs at the crank. All motor. And it's a cheezy smogger engine to boot!! 1976 Olds 350 with 8:1 comp. I have another set of heads I'm going to port and mill to get that compression up to 9-9.5:1 and go up 2 sizes in cam. That should net 390-420hp and 410-420ft lbs at the crank and 11 sec et's.
