Doing more work to my gold car today, and removed the engine. Finally got a pic of my $30K engine hoist.

I figured it was kinda fitting to do this over at my mothers.

Nothing more appropriate than using a TRACTOR to pull the enginr out in front of a trailer house.

that is how the 3400 got IN my car! you use what you have available. It worked really well for me too!

all the engines that I have ever pulled were on the end of a chain from a loader! anything from a 4 cylinder all the way to a 7.3 IDI diesel.

you will predict wrong kenny. It would do that if it was still high compression. If not faster.

I am replaceing the heads and cam for the stock setup. Meaning, it will be a STOCK 3100 SFI and 4T60-E. That is also why I am rewiring the car to OBD2. I need the car to run, and this is the fastest way to get it running again. I will redo it later, but I honestly feel that with the OBD2 setup, it will give me more potential in the future.

Can't do anything to day. Raining, and Thunder storms. Maybe tomorrow, I can start pulling the interior out.

i thought about doing that, but it is hard to get people down here to help me. The closest friends are in HOUSTON, which is about 1.5 hrs.

My neighbor is the one that drove the tractor. My stepdad does not want me using the tractor, but he didn't say anything about the neighbor.

When I need help, I have to do it around his schedule. Other than that, I tend to keep things at the point where if they are not there to help, I can continue with other things.

When we pull the tranny out, we will probably just pick it up and out. That is how we got it out of the pink car.

might do a 15.5 if I leave the dash out of the car.
