I have the factory keyless on my 91 cutlass. It no longer works on either remote. I have changed the batteries and checked fuses. What else could it be?

your contol might need to be re-program.do this
1.take the batt out ,put it back in .
2.press the lock and ulock buttons together for 10 seconds, depress the bottons
3.enter the key in the ignition ,turn the key on then back off ,take the key out
4.get out the car close the door and try the controls
5.if this works repeat using the second control.
is normal for controls to do this ,if this don't work ,i might be giving you the wrong steps(but they shouldn't be) or the keyless entry sensor by have to be reprogram and i believe that's the dealers job. let me know if that help you.i just love to watch the wheels turn around and around

Neither of those are correct for your car.
Open your trunk and look near the ANTENNA. You will see a SMALL CONNECTOR that is not connected to anything. Just a single black wire with a plug on the end It is usually under the gray carpeting near the strut tower, but I have seen it as far back as to be near the taillight.
Take that connector and GROUND IT to the antenna (some are long enough to reach, and some you have to use a JUMPER WIRE).
KEEP THE PLUG TERMINAL GROUNDED.
Once you ground it, the DOORS will LOCK, UNLOCK, then pop the trunk. That means it is in PROGRAMMING MODE.
With the wire STILL GROUNDED, push ANY BUTTON on the remote. That will make the door locks and trunk cycle again.
Once it has cycled you just either program a SECOND REMOTE (you can only have 2 per car), or just disconnect the ground.
Once the wire is no longer grounded, test it. If it does not work, that means the keyless entry module has gone bad.Taylor
