  • I Am Snow Pissed!

No cute little story, on how nice the weather is, or parking problems. Or how nice my car looks after the wind and snow had it's way with it! This time it is serious! I'm Pissed! And it is time to revolt!!

See where the car is parked? See where the mailbox is? See the note? See why I'm pissed? This is twice in 2 days to get the same F.....g note! The snow in front of my box, extends 12 feet into the street! And is 2 foot deep, and hard as a rock! No mailboxes on the far side, the car is parked next to the curb. I put it there 2 days ago to make it easy on plowman! My mailbox extends OVER the curb! The whole block is the same, and my neighbors are pissed as well! All of our extra cars are across the street!

Oh, the "Nicer" neighborhoods had their snow removed with a loader, and neatly piled into an inconspicuous place. Away from their mailboxes!!!

Is it My responsibilty to spend 3 hours shoveling this crap? Out of their street?

I think not!!!! Mr. Mailman, send the note to City Hall. And if God wants it gone...He will warm it up a bit! -7 this morning....

    OK, I'm better now.....

    i have a PO box.

one of the many reasons is the plows kept wiping out my mailbox, with mail in it. i think they do it on purpose, because there are 2 down in the 5 or so boxes between my place and the corner.

I went through the same thing. Township sends out a letter saying not to shovel out the end of the driveway so I won't be mad at them for plowing it shut. OK, I don't. Mr. Plow comes through 2 times, clearing about a lane and a half, leaving about 8 feet of snow in front of my driveway and mail box. I call them up, they say I don't live on a major road, too bad. So I came across some bags of calcium chloride at work, and 10 bags later, no more snow/ice/concrete!
