i have tried to find a good dash for my 93 cutlass ,but haven't been able to find one in good condition for sale.this type of dash seem to warp and crack badly where the defrost air comes out.mine got like that cause i left it one full summer
out in the texas sun .
this the fist fix a while back,i staple it down then i use black industrial glue to hold it (it work great cause still there holding it).
well that wasn't to bad until the dash cracked.
and still can't find a good dash ,so i fix it again ,i use carpet i that i use for subwoofer boxes .and i use some stuff in the egdes made for carpets to give it a custom look.double sideding the edges and sewing would work also ,just like i did where the defrost air comes out.
if you notice is a little wrinkle ,but i am going to let it set ,then i might use double sided tape to keep it in place and glue where the defrost air come out to make it all flush and even .
i am sure some of you guys done something better ,but maybe someone could use this ,and is very cheap i don't thing i use $5.00 (but helps to have stuff in hand).
