  • How rare is this car?

IMO I have found the most interesting car. 1993 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL, 3.4 DOHC COUPE. Most of these cars with this motor were drop tops from my understanding.

The car has the following features:
    Bass Control Lever
    Power Moonroof
    Heads Up Display
    Leather interior
    Digital Climate Control
    Bose Audio System
    Steering Wheel Audio/Climate Controls
    Fog Lights

Someone has informed me this was a personal custom setup for options, and I have heard this is like 1 of 4 setup this way? or is that just smoke up my butt. Any help with this "rare" care is welcomed, its a definate keeper right?

    smoke up your ass.

its fairly rare but gm never broke down cars beyond how many had 3.1 and how many had 3.4 - so you can only make generalizations and assumptions as to the exact # of cars had your specific options. most people do this by taking each option and the % of cars sold with it and then keep breaking it down from there, which is nowhere near an exact science or even close to even pretending to be accurate.

and remember, rare does not always mean desirable. the 3.4 has gotten a bad rap from mechanics who don't know how to time them or change the alternator in less than 4 hours. when i was pulling parts off a 3.4 euro in the yard - the junkyard worker came by to grab some and he said "oh man thats one of them there shit motors" - and most people think alike on that. except us hardcore wackos.

the loaded up coupes aren't too common, but not rare either, at least compared to other Cutlass Supremes.

Actually a friend of mine has one with identical options to what you listed there. I'm thinking about trying to buy it from him since I know he only paid $500 and he just got a DUI. It's in good shape and runs good too. Plus the seats are friggin sweet.

        14.60 @ 96.33 for now...
