New to the 60DegreeV6 thing. I have a 1970 KE17 Toyota Corolla I bought over a decade ago and I finally picked it up last year....engine is toasted.....was talking to a buddy and I bought a 91 2.8 with a 5 spd with a new clutch from a S10 for $225. I am planning on shoehorning it into the Corolla. I also have an Eaton M90 that needs a new home too, planning on switching the 2.8 to a carb too.
I have a few questions,
I neglected to measure the physical length of the 2.8 from fan to back of the head and won't be picking it up for a couple o weeks, what is the length?
I also have a 95 3.1, was contemplating on putting the aluminum heads on the 2.8 but upon my lackluster research I found my static compression would be too high for a blower......what are your opinions?
Is there currently an easily sourced cam for a supercharged application or am I going to have to get a custom grind done?
Thanks in advance!
