    Anyone else have a Malibu Maxx?

    Just curious if anyone has replaced the support struts for the rear hatch on a Malibu Maxx. It looks like a perfectly straightforward task but those are the ones that usually bite you in the @ss.

      if it's ANYTHING like doing hood struts, it's going to be dead simple and uber fast.
      1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

        The hardest part will probably be getting the clips undone. In the parts store and online they are called lift supports.

          Yeah. Gonna give it a whirl this afternoon. The support strut is waiting at the parts counter for me.
