    Hello all.
    my name is john.
i have a few things going on with my montecarlo

first off, i moved from cali, to oregon with my 1998 montecarlo ls 3100
sence has sold it about a year after i moved to oregon.

missing it eversence, being my first real car.

i ended up finding it on craiglist about 6 years later traded a rifle for it lol.
motor is shot, oil in coolant to far to bring back with the time i have.

SO. got back on craigslist, traded a rc car for a 1996 buick regal custom with a 3100
2xx,xxx odd miles bad tranny wont leave 1st, but has been rebuilt
pretty much new everything on top. high miles but freshend up. runs great

Sence im a craiglist whore. lol

i ended up trading a laptop for a 1998 olds cutless with a 3100 also. 16x,xxx miles unkown history runs great

one of these is going to be a doner, should i do the high mile regal thats been rebuilt
or the lower mile olds thats unkown history?

use the regal engine. coming from another W-body, it should more or less drop in. you MIGHT have to swap the coolant temp sensor, but that's about it.
1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

and LIMG's haha, i'd go with which ever has the best compression orless oil sludge build up when you look in the oil fill cap. Also the 98 and 96 will be the same motors internally

      Its runs!!!>>>Aint No 60* Sound Like Mehttp://youtu.be/YKEmNwa141U
