My name is Dave and I live in the Vancouver, BC (Canada) area.
I have a 60* V6 of unknown size/vintage stuffed into a 1965 Volvo 1800S. I loved the cars (for those who may remember them - Simon Templar drove one in old "Saint TV show) (Google pics of a Volvo 1800S) but I was very disappointed to find that they had a teeny 1800cc 4 banger in such a gorgeous car.
So...
I found a car sans engine & trans and started in. I found that the 60* V6 would fit very well, so I sourced one that is reputedly from a rolled-over '87 Camaro. The entire intake system and distributor were missing, so I put on an Edelbrock intake and a Holley 390 4bbl, and added a Mallory dual-point dist, and installed it with the 700R4 that it came attached to. Even the motor mounts lined up! (but I had to massage the trans tunnel a tad to make things all fit) Home-made headers are on there too.
The car came with a Dana 30 rear as stock (I hear they are common in Jeeps, too)
And now I am looking for ways to get a bit more "suds" out of the V6
