I just bought the car for $500.00 thinking I would fix a couple of leaks and sell it. After driving it I can understand why people love/hate these cars. The body has very little rust, it still looks great even tho a daily driver with 135,000 miles (220,000 km).
The guy who owned it before me spent lots on it. Has an upgraded rear spring, stainless magnaflow mufflers and a viper alarm.
From reading many many posts on this forum it seems that these are very durable motors other than the timing belt and oil leaks.
I am thinking that I may keep it. Handles very well and is reasonably fast. The motor runs very smoothly and quiet other than the exhaust.
