  • my new baby :) FINALY!!

soo 3 years after my last fiero was stolen, i finaly found a replacement..

paid $500 for this great deal of an 86 fiero GT 4speed manual
under 95k miles, needs paint, interior is in good condition, new tires, no muffler (surprisingly not that loud) engine runs good, had reciepts of a new clutch 3k miles ago (cost more then i paid for the car lol).

current plans - fix the few things it needs.
    left outer cv boot
    rear ball joints
    rear brakes
    tuneup
    front bearings
    fix coolant temp sensor.
    seat covers
new sail panels and taillight covers.

    near future
    front grand-am brake upgrade
re-color interior (sorry the beachwood color has to go...and soon)
put a wing on it(o.e. not some aluminum pos)
    poly suspention
    new springs
make a bracket and mountup my eaton m90, where the AC currently is.

    finial plans.
    turbo 3.4/3500 hybrid.
sandblasted and re-painted suspention parts and engine cradle.
    custom fiberglass dash
mr mikes door covers and seats
    5speed getrag swap
paint job (blue with white pearl, silver aero panels)
    non-popup headlight swap
decklid scoop, and front hood air extractor.
    re-installed AC

wanted with the finished project -
a car that looks good, and can get into the 12's

looks good. I have always had a soft spot (or is it a hard spot?) for the Fiero. I am thinking about getting one to play with after I sell my Grand Prix STE.

i think its softspot, im the same way, i just love the way the little things look...
when i found one for 500 that was in that decient of shape (ive seen ones that are alot worse for alot more) i just couldnt resist

bad part is today i was chaning the rear brakes, and somehow striped the banjo bolt hole... are they tapable? eh, ill just get a new one, aint worth chancing it over.
