  • My 94 Supreme

Hey guys. Thought I'd put up a few pictures of my car. I work the parts counter at a GM dealer and this came in on a trade-in a year ago and I bought it for $800.00. Hard to belive it's been a year already, but the car is running great. Had some minor issues with the check engine light. One of the techs put a scanner on it and found a few codes. Someone had installed the EGR gasket backwards-easily fixed. Also had some ABS codes, we found a broken right front sensor wire. Easily fixed with a new pigtail. ABS light kept coming on now and then but I believe it was a brake issue. Did the rears last July, since then no lights whatsoever. Did plugs and wires at that time too, all AC Delco stuff. We did a BG injector clean on it and it runs real smooth now. I put a fresh air setup on it I found on ebay, it likes the fresh air. Took it off for the winter though. Been thinking of a bigger TBI unit, an underdriven pulley and a chip in the spring. What do you guys think? Car has about 88K on it.

Is your intake a simple 90 degree bend?

I was going relatively fast thru a school zone and was caught. However, I managed to zip into a neighborhood and evade the cop. Could I get additional tickets by trying to run?

Basically yes, although I would have liked the section on the TBI end to be a little longer. Come the spring I think I'll replace that blue silicone hose that was provided with a longer piece to move the air cleaner away from the engine just a tad.

Rhedalert, looks like you've done quite a bit of work to your ride. Looking good there. Whereabouts in New York are you? Are you part of the Olds Club of America? I know a few people from there I've met at various OCA nationals. Even been to the Spring Dust Off in LI a few times. I'm part of our local chapter, The New England Olds Club.

Being part of a club is fun. We host a meeting every month, have picnics, Christmas parties and twice a year rent out Lebanon Valley Dragway to run our cars. The link to the Olds Club of America is http://oldsclub.org/. We're planning on driving to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the nationals in July.
