  • OBDII Swap?

Whats the going rate for a '96 Harness, DL port and ecu? trying to decide if its worth going back to the JY and pulling the Engine harness? i have the ECU already....

when we pulled all the stuff needed to OBD-II swap a beretta i think it ran a little over 100 bucks.
this was with the Abs/fluid res too so overall price without it would be cheaper.

these are rough prices from when i got the stuff myself
      engine harness was $40
      ecu about $30
DL port most of the time a freebie.

the engine harness was expensive its just a little time consuming to remove.

yeah, ive done the swap on my car so i know how much of a PITA it is.. I am only thinking about it caus i have everything up top allready off (from snagging the intakes) so most of it is allready off.. just have to get the parts off that suck the worst lol... i think i payed about $150 for my ecu/harness when i bought mine from car-part.com and had it shipped (much easier that way lol).. but if they where going for like $150 on the board i would consider pulling the harness out and selling it, helps someone out and maybe make a couple $$ for my time.. It is on a '96 Z34 so it is a good JY find, i wasnt planning on doing a intake swap but kind of just fell into my lap so i figured what the hell.

I did my OBDII swap last year in 2008. I paid $14.99 for the wiring harness and $19.99 for the PCM. The $14.99 also included all the sensors that needed to be switched over.

They are rare to come by in this yard I goto. I usually go and check once in a while, but there hasn't been any lately.
