  • how would it be?

ok.instead of trying to install a turbo or super charger, ect.
what about NOS?.just a dry kit?
for those moments when your cruising and you feel the need to prove something to the guys riding in there buddies civic(if you know what i mean)
i was just wondering if anyone has put a level 1 kit on there dohc?

i cant ask anyone around here because when ever you mention nitrous, its like your talking about offing yourself or something.but from what ive read,i dont think its that bad

thanx guys.let me know what you think

Isn't that what you just did, was ask here? I'm confused...

Nitrous is always an option. I think a wet kit would be a better idea, but I've never used the stuff. Do a search in the BOOST section of the site, as I'm pretty sure people have discussed it for a DOHC before.

Yeh there are a few people that have ran squeeze. Dry shot 50-75 shot. if you run larger its a good idea to run a wet. the problem with wet shots is the fuel pools up in the intake and has potential for a nitrous backfire... not very safe.. for street use i would say stick with a dry shot and keep it small. i almost bought a zex kit WAY back in the day and got in a accident... after i fixed the car i turboed it instead. A guy here in colorado from colorado springs runs a 50-75 shot and stock in denver the cars run 17's (high elevation 5800ft) and with the spray he ran mid-high 14's.... 3 seconds is big. at sea level i would expect less of a gain.

        you know? lol
but the main reason i asked was i wanted to know if the stock 3.4 could handle it.without blowing up or some other form of failure.

        thanx

well my stock engine and TimG's stock engine have handled 7-10psi for 2-4years without problem... a small shot of spray shouldnt be any different. The guy local to me running 50-75 shot is still running all stock without blowing up. BUT again any aftermarket power adder there is allways a chance something could let lose.. Imposible to say nothing will break...
