whats the size of the 3.4 dohc throttle body?

Just wondering why you feel it's too big. Stock is 65 but you got headers, cam, etc. Not sure at what point that 65mm would be a bottle neck though. Are you feeling no increase from mid-throttle to WOT in power or something?

crazy reasons. large plenum, smaller tb. long story and entirely too much to explain. but weve covered it here before.

also im getting a huge hesitation when going from closed throttle to WOT. like the rpms dip to around 500 and then it revs a second later. if i mash it all the way, the engine will die. not fun for driving.

either way ill have the 70mm and the 64mm for testing this larger plenum - smalller tb thing ive read about. if i can finally get to the dyno well have some hard data on differences between tb's and thier size vs plenum volume

If it bogs, you can tune for that. Still too much TB to me for but it should be touchy, not bogging.

Heh, how about me? I have a 3500 plenum and 52mm TB on right now! LOL. Talk about big plenum small TB!
