  • 94-95 ECM

Just wondering whether anybody has managed to pop out a chip for this. Would switch over to OBDII but there seems to be no 96-97 LQ1's in junkyards in my area. Anyhow, if anybody knows anything, let us know.

there is a guy on the fiero forums called darthfiero that can modify 94-95 chips. not sure what he charges now but he done mine back in the day for only $40, although he didn't make many major changes.

i think all i had done was removed the in park rev limiter, the speed limiter, removed the egr, set it up for a 160 stat and set it so both fans would activate when it reached temp.

i may have had the other rev limiter bumped to 7000 but i cannot recall.

i may still have it laying around somewhere even.

p.s. his name is ryan and his site is www.gmtuners.com there are also dohc pinouts there but i already have a bunch on my hd and they are here to i believe.

You will need a 1996 Harness/ECU a 1997 won't work cause of your transmission. www.Car-part.com search and call places. i got mine from a yard in Oregon and was shippd and uncut.
