    3.6 DOHC swap???

    hi!

    just wondering if this is possible is the 3.6 based on our motors?

    if so id really be interested in doing this the new cadillac STS V6 is rated at 306hp//277lbft

    i believe they are but i wouldn't try that particular version since it is direct injected. now a whole lot of knowlege on that yet.

    they have tamer versions that are not direct injected though.

      the earliest model of the 3.6 isnt DI right like the torrent isnt, 245 hp right?

        i do not know alot about that engine but yes some of them are not direct injected.

          The only one thats direct injected is the new one coming out in the CTS... and I don't think its even available yet. Also, that's a RWD engine and might not even have our bolt pattern.

          The motor is not based on ours at all. It's a completely new design (and it kicks ass). The Vue drivetrain should work if you're looking for a complete donor.
