    Hey, what kinda gains/loses would I see by puttin 96dohc heads on a 95dohc MC.. Thanks

    Also were is a good place to get new pistons and rings.. If im going to take it apart might as well replace some stuff while im in there..

        Dont have anyone in my area that nows shit about it... Dont you think I would have ask them first if I did.. This use to be the place to get info on these types of things.. Thanks anyway

          You can try Rockautpo.com for pistons and rings. I know Partsamerica.com is good for rings as well. A nice premium set is all you need. For an upgrade you can go with total seal, they might need measurments... I say might becuase many people on this site has ordered from them before. They cost a bunch more.

          I belive a '96 head on a '95 will jackup the compression ratio a point. Nothing that high test couldn't fix.

            I know they changed the timing belt cogs in 96 so just remember to change out the the lower one on the timing cover.

            96 Z34 3.4 SC DOHC Getrag, 284 5sd manual transmission, stage 3spec clutch, 97 engine, 97 pcm, S3 intercooler 1 of 1 Roots SC LQ1 in the world 8.5 psi.

              Sweet.. Thanks for the info.. The old girl leaks oil and anti-frez but with 198,200 miles im not going to crying about it. If I get 96 heads for it i'll prob replace the lifters, springs and valves from the 60d store .. and get so headers for it.. All depends.. Thanks Again

                Change the distributor O-ring while you have the heads off...
