  • 96-97 Cam Timing, -8 exhaust retard?

So adjusting the cam timing in Desktop Dyno, with what I think are the 96-97 cam specs, Im am using seat-to-seat specs that I saw in the 96 cam analysis thread, and flow numbers from the pre 95 head, with a little more exhuast flow added. I have no idea if this is realistic at all, just wondering what some of the experts think.

I retarded just the exhaust cams 8 degrees, I tried 4 at first and torque remained the same, but only about a 7hp increase, at 8 it is 15hp.

    stock timing is

I haven't done any simulations with dynomation for the DOHC engines. I have not tried any different cam timing on a 96/97 engine either to give you any feedback.
