been looking at the engine compartment on my 3.4L GTP. found a black box at the front of the passenger side fender under the fuse box. what is this? the box has a crack in it close to the radiator fill neck. looks like water could get in this box if it was spilled.

That is Most likely your Computer!
If your talking about the small black rectangle on the Radiator itself, that
is the Coolent sensor that tell you on the Dash that Coolent is Low.

this is a fairly large plastic black box, not on the radiator. it has a crack in it close to the radiator fill neck. if water were to get in this box, am i SOL?Comment

thats a metal casing, but maybe the other end where the connectors are could have cracked. i have one of those from a 3.1 GP.If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.Comment
