RE: cam cog locks
Once you have the cams timed per the write up on this site, put the lock rings on the camshaft and slip the cog over them and the shaft and start crankin all over again until the cog seats in it's normal position. You MUST be very careful not to allow the camshaft or cogs to turn while tightening these or you will knock the whole shebang out of time.
